Tracey J. Hambleton, Artist
Painting the shifting light and ever-changing colors in the meadows, mountains, and towns of Vermont.
The shifting light and ever-changing landscape continue to woo me to my palette and paints. For most of the year I take a small tripod-mounted easel and my painting supplies outside.
My paintings evolve with each season. I often use my plein air pieces as inspiration for larger studio paintings. Always I try to preserve those brief moments of light, color and movement that surround us everyday.
